Kellie Wells is a U.S. hurdler to watch out for in 2012. Kellie Wells was born on July 16, 1982. This American hurdler specializes in the womens 100 meter and 60 meter hurdles. This talented athlete is currently listed at 5′ 4” and 125 lbs. Kellie Wells attended Hampton University and is from Richmond, Virginia.

Kellie Wells is definitely one of the 2012 Olympic level athletes to watch. Wells was a USATF Outdoor National Champion and USATF Indoor National Champion in 2011. Look for Wells to make her presence felt in the 2012 Olympic trials this year.

Bryan Clay is a U.S. decathlete to watch out for in 2012. Bryan Clay was born on January 3, 1980. This American athlete specializes in the decathalon. He is currently listed at 5′ 10” and 185 lbs. Bryan Clay was born in Azusa, CA.

Bryan Clay is definitely one of the 2012 Olympic athletes to watch. The winner of the decathlon usually gets the the title of “World’s Greatest Athlete.” After getting the silver medal in the 2004 Olympics, Bryan Clay earned the title in 2005 as the World Champion and again in 2008 as the Olympic Gold medalist in the decathlon. Clay can make Olympic history this year by becoming the only decathlete to win three Olympic medals.

Walter Dix is a U.S. sprinter to watch out for in 2012. Walter Dix was born on January 31, 1986. This American sprinter specializes in the mens 100 meter and 200 meter sprints. This talented athlete is currently listed at 5′ 9” and 190 lbs and he is from from Coral Springs, Florida. Walter dix set a state record of 10.28 seconds in the 100m and broke the 200m Florida high school record with 20.62 seconds in his final year at Coral Springs High School in 2004.

Walter Dix is definitely one of the 2012 Olympic athletes to watch. Dix won bronze medals in both the mens 100m and 200m in the 2008 Olymbics Look for Dix to make his presence felt in the 2012 Olympics this year.

Lolo Jones is a hurdler to watch out for in 2012. Lori “Lolo” Jones, more commonly known as Lolo Jones was born on August 5, 1982. The 29 year old American track star specializes in the 60 meter and 100 meter hurdles. This talented hurdler is currently listed at 5′ 9” and 130 lbs and she is from Des Moines, Iowa. Lolo Jones won gold medals at the World Indoor Championship in 2008 and 2010 in the womens 60 meter hurdles.

Lolo Jones is definitely one of the 2012 Olympic athletes to watch. Although she was a favorite to win the womens 100 meter hurdles in the 2008 Olympics, Lolo tripped on the penultimate hurdle and ended up finishing in seventh place. Look for her to bounce back in the 2012 Olympics this year.

2012 Olympic Athletes to Watch: LaShawn Merritt

LaShawn Merritt earned gold medals in both the 400-meter and 4 x 400-meter relay events at the 2008 Olympics. Merritt then tested positive for DHEA back in 2009 and was banned from the sport for 21 months. He was able to return in the 2011 World Championship meet where he won silver in the 400-meter and gold in the 4 x 400-meter relay.

LaShawn Merritt is definely one of the 2012 Olympic athletes to watch. Should Merritt win gold in the the 400-meter in London, he will become just the second man ever to win the event in consecutive Olympic Games. Michael Johnson was the first athlete to ever accomplish this feat in the 400-meters.

Brown University to Hold Javelin Clinic with World Record Holder Tom Petranoff

Look for a good javelin clinic or to get some good training for the javelin throw? This upcoming javelin clinic being hosted by Brown University might be right for you. You will be able to get valuble insight from the world record holder in the javelin throw, Tom Petranoff. 2010 NCAA National Javelin Champion, Craig Kinsley , will be in attendance as well. The 2012 Javelin Clinic is being taught by Brown University Throws Coach, Michelle Eisenreich, Brown University Assistant Coach and NCAA Javelin Champion, Craig Kinsley and Javelin World Record Holder (327 feet), Tom Petranoff Event Sessions will include Core training for Javelin, learn by doing, Body awareness and building athleticism for the throws: Speed, Agility and Power; Weak side training and testing. Includes spring training program. This clinic is open to athletes, coaches and officials. All abilities are invited.The fee includes a 2012 Core Training DVD

Carmelita Jeter of the United States hold the second fastest time ever recorded in the Women’s 100 meters behind the legendary Florence Griffith-Joyner at 10.64 seconds. She was the 2011 World Champion in the Womens 100 meters. She will be someone to watch out for in the 2012 Olympics.
