She was favored to win the 100m hurdles at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, but she tripped on the penultimate hurdle, finishing in seventh place. Lolo Jones was born on August 5, 1982 is currently listed at 5′ 9″ and 140 lbs. This track and field star athlete specializes in the women’s 60m and 100m hurdles.

Lolo Jones finished 3rd in the 2012 USA Olympic trials and is one of the 2012 Olympic athletes to watch in London, England. It would be a fascinating story if Lolo Jones goes on to win gold in the 2012 Olympics after her disappointing defeat in 2008.

This English athlete specializes in the womens’s pentathlon, the women’s heptathlon and the women’s 110 meter hurdles. This talented track and field star athlete was unable to compete in the 2008 Olympics due to injuries.

Jessica Ennis is definitely one of the 2012 Olympic athletes to watch. Ennis was the 2009 World Heptathlon Champion and the 2010 World Indoor Pentathlon Champion. Ennis is one of the best multi event athletes and will be someone to keep an eye on in the 2012 Olympics in London.

Kellie Wells is a U.S. hurdler to watch out for in 2012. Kellie Wells was born on July 16, 1982. This American hurdler specializes in the womens 100 meter and 60 meter hurdles. This talented athlete is currently listed at 5′ 4” and 125 lbs. Kellie Wells attended Hampton University and is from Richmond, Virginia.

Kellie Wells is definitely one of the 2012 Olympic level athletes to watch. Wells was a USATF Outdoor National Champion and USATF Indoor National Champion in 2011. Look for Wells to make her presence felt in the 2012 Olympic trials this year.

Lolo Jones is a hurdler to watch out for in 2012. Lori “Lolo” Jones, more commonly known as Lolo Jones was born on August 5, 1982. The 29 year old American track star specializes in the 60 meter and 100 meter hurdles. This talented hurdler is currently listed at 5′ 9” and 130 lbs and she is from Des Moines, Iowa. Lolo Jones won gold medals at the World Indoor Championship in 2008 and 2010 in the womens 60 meter hurdles.

Lolo Jones is definitely one of the 2012 Olympic athletes to watch. Although she was a favorite to win the womens 100 meter hurdles in the 2008 Olympics, Lolo tripped on the penultimate hurdle and ended up finishing in seventh place. Look for her to bounce back in the 2012 Olympics this year.

The Legendary Edwin Moses – 1984 Olympics 400m hurdles final

Edwin Corley Moses (born August 31 1955) is probably the most famous hurdler of all time. He won gold medals in the 400-meter hurdles at the 1976 and 1984 Olympics. He is known for having the longest streak of consecutive wins in track and field history.
